About Our Founder
Lakesha Davis first started Lovingkindness Homes in 2020. She found herself operating as more than just a landlord when her tenants needed help finding transportation, paying rent, or searching for a new job. Seeing that this need was beyond what she could offer through her current business, she founded Lovingkindness Transitional Services (Lovingkindness TSI) in 2021, a non-profit organization with a focus on offering services that help people transition into affordable housing.
Starting Lovingkindness TSI has allowed her to impact the community on a broader scale. She focuses on the main challenges people face in obtaining housing that they can afford long term: transportation, housing assistance, employment, and education.
Everything Lakesha does comes from her own personal experience. She has developed tools she used to get out of homelessness. She knows what it is like to need help navigating available programs, resources, and assistance. Lakesha’s journey has given her a passion for guiding others to accomplish their own housing goals.

How is My Donation Used?
Your dollars will go directly towards a client trying to remain in their home. We strive to make up for the shortages of rent due to unforeseen circumstances. Your donation will help a client get to work to reduce poverty in the community. Giving will support a family or individual striving to better themselves by continuing their education. Finally, your donation will help provide transportation, counseling, food, and clothing to those in need.

Lovingkindness Transitional Services Inc. provides assistance to low-income individuals transitioning from homelessness into housing. We do this by providing housing assistance, employment and educational resources, transportation, clothing, and food as needed.
